Sam Tannenbaum

I am an experienced teacher of piano, guitar, composing, and music theory. After training in Music at the University of Cambridge and graduating with a first-class degree with a specialism in composing, I taught for a year in Rugby School’s performing arts department before becoming a freelance Music tutor. Since then I have taught piano to all ages and levels, composition and songwriting, as well as Music theory and history, including home-schooling students through Music A-Levels and other exams. I also teach guitar in a popular and rock styles, as well as acoustic and folk guitar, and can teach Logic Pro skills to students. As a performer and composer, I have written music for short films and plays, play keyboard and guitar in several bands, and done extensive work in sound design for the stage. I also play the sitar and have lead workshops in Indian Classical Music in schools.
