Samantha Hargreaves

Australian-born soprano and teacher Samantha Hargreaves holds a Master of Music from the University of Melbourne and is currently studying at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Samantha was recently awarded the Opera Europa Eva Kleinitz Scholarship. Samantha created the role of Sarah-Marie in Three Marys, a chamber opera by Andrèe Greenwell, that premiered at the Sydney Opera House (2023).

Samantha has taught singing and beginner piano at schools across Melbourne and London. With young pianists, she specialises in building sight-reading, aural training and piano skills up to Grade Three ABRSM level. With singers, is experienced with students of all ages and levels. Regardless of genre, Samantha believes that the fundamentals of vocal production are the same. She is passionate about first and foremost, finding a healthy and free technique for each singer. Samantha believes in a holistic approach to singing and incorporates movement and visualisation into her lessons.
