Our Group Singing Classes are uniquely held at the Italian deli, Buondì in Balham, on Mondays at 6:15pm. Enjoy a tea/coffee and Italian biscotti or cake whilst learning with our Managing Director, Shakira Tsindos.
Starting 4th November 2024, we are thrilled to announce our Singing Short Courses.
Our Courses span across 6 week terms and we offer 6 terms throughout the year.
For every 6 week term, you receive 1 free class and if you sign up to all 6 terms within a 12 month period you’ll receive your 6th term entirely FREE.
Singing and Biscotti Classes with Shakira Tsindos
Class Duration: 75 Minutes
Location: Buondì, 21 Balham High Road, SW12 9AL
When: Mondays at 6:15pm - 7:30pm (75 Minutes)
Age: 18+
The Art of Singing Class is perfect for students who are new to singing or those who are entirely self taught. You don’t need any prior experience at all, just a desire to learn!
During the class, we will explore the basic principles of singing in a fun and relaxed setting, helping participants to grow in confidence. At the end of the class, our teachers will be able to advise students on the best way to continue their singing journey.
Performance opportunities
At the end of Terms 2, 4 & 6, The Art of Singing students will have the opportunity to perform locally at a range of events.
For Term 2, 2024, our students will work towards a performance at the Christmas Open Mic Night at Against The Grain Cidery in Tooting on 13th December 2024, following our final Group Class.

SINGING AND BISCOTTI
I’m so thrilled that you have found us here at Workbox Music, and do hope that you consider joining us for The Art of Singing Group Classes in Balham.
I’m an Australian opera singer, who moved to London 6 years ago to complete my Masters of Performance at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Don’t let “opera singer” scare you, I began in Music Theatre and writing and singing my own pop music. By using a solid vocal technique, I will teach you how to sing many different genres including, pop, jazz and music theatre.
At the beginning of each term, I will ask all of our students to each nominate a song they would like us to work on, and I will choose 3 songs for our 6 week term. I want everyone to feel as though they are singing the music that they love, and what they want to most improve on during each term.
